Lokharke, The Forgetful Squirrel

Once upon a time, in a dry, drought-stricken jungle, there lived a forgetful squirrel named Lokharke. Born in the harsh wilderness, he found himself unable to leave like the others, for he had met a kind female squirrel who promised to come back every spring.

Knowing that his beloved would come to him, Lokharke set out on a special mission during the long winter months. With firm resolve, he searched far and wide, gathering fruits and nuts from nature’s gifts. He diligently hid his precious treasures in various places, safeguarding them from the greedy reptiles that lurked nearby.

After many months of struggle and uncertainty, he finally managed to find his way back one night. While returning, he heard subtle sounds coming from beneath the drought-stricken earth. Though he was doubtful, he slept silently, listening to the minuscule sounds of nature. The ground around him started bursting, making him more confused than ever.

The next morning, with the first rays of the sun, he realized the earth had small crevasses from where new flowers and trees were sprouting. A miracle unfolded in the land that he had unknowingly touched—a beautiful garden and a thriving forest emerged, born from the forgotten bounty he had scattered across the land.

Lokharke was filled with joy. He realized that even though he was forgetful, his hard work had created something truly special. It was a sign of how hope can bring about great change, even in the face of loneliness and uncertainty. Lokharke discovered a profound truth: love, if one can wait long enough, can lead us in unexpected directions, filling our hearts with deeper and purer happiness.
